According to
the camping newsletters that
we get from trade members, this
should be a banner season. RV,
trailer and camping supply sales
have surpassed expection this
year.
The crew is
stil busy with winter clean
up. They were just getting caught
up with the downed trees from
the ice storm, when
a rain storm with 50 MPH winds
took down many more branches.
They were just catching up with
that when this recent storm with
rain and wind gusts up to 70 MPH
came along. Any trees
left standing have passed the
test and should remain for years.
We are getting
pretty excited about our second
season at the campground. The
activity center is completed.
The lodge is looking great.
The projects for this month
are finishing up the Snack Shack
and then remodeling the restrooms
in the tent section.
I added some
storm photos towards the bottom
of our photo page on our website. I also added
a lighthouse page. There are
a lot of lighthouse lovers out
there and
I have tons of photos of the
Nubble Lighthouse so I though
I would share them.
