Memorial Day
started our season with a bang!
We had hoped for a good
start for our 2nd season at
Salmon Falls River Camping Resort.
We got more than we expected. Every
available site was booked for
the holiday weekend.
As you can see in the photo
above, the children really had
fun with the water balloon volleyball.
We extended the check-out time
on Sunday to 2 PM so that everyone
could enjoy a little
more fun including one last
swim before heading home.
The kids loved the stores
selection, the field games,
candy bar bingo, new arcade,
new table game room, indoor
heated Olympic sized swimming
pool and the opening of the
soft serve ice cream stand at
our snack shack.

Saturday night was such a pleasure.
There were so many families
sitting around campfires! Parents
were talking to and listening
to their children and everyone
looked like they were having
a great time. I wish my camera
worked with the available lighting
as it was a beautiful sight.
We have many seasonal guests
that are now settled in. I have
to say that we are very lucky
that every seasonal guest at
our resort is fun loving, family
oriented & friendly.
Last weekend we opened our campers restaurant
on the second floor in the activity
center. The menu is simple.
We will be serving Friday
4-8 for those of you that head
straight in from work. We are
also serving on Saturday between
8-4 and offering an Italian
Buffet from 5-8PM. The buffet
is $8.95 for adults and $2.99
for children under 13. Breakfast
will be available Sunday from
8 AM to 2 PM.
