We purchased Salmon Falls River RV Resort and Family Campground in August of 2008

We are offering our word that when we complete our renovations there will be a waiting list to camp at Salmon Falls River RV Resort and Family Campground.  We are determined to renovate this campground and appreciate your patients during our renovation period.

Please note, the former owners had listed in a glossy brochure, that they would watch your children while you enjoy your stay. We are not the former owners and we do not provide childcare. There were also activities and amenities that they advertised and planned to offer that are not available. What we list on our website is what we actually have available.

 

We have been traveling for 24 years in various camping units with and without our 4 children and our family dogs. We have stayed at campgrounds starting out with our pop-up trailer (1985) and then in a variety of class A, B, and C motorhomes. We have spoken to many campground owners and customers and decided that we really wanted to own our own campground. After looking at a dozen campgrounds in the last 4 years we finally found what we were looking for. The campground we found was called Natural High Campground. I loved it at first sight as I have an eye for potential. Of course we will change a lot, and that is starting with the name. The campground was recently named Salmon Falls River RV Resort and Family Campground. If we answer the phone and only say RV resort it is because some people will not be aware of the new name so for now we will answer to both names.

We purchased Salmon Falls River RV Resort and Family Campground in August of 2008. We have been in the hospitality business many years. We operated a 250 seat restaurant and gift shop for 20 years before switching to lodging. In 2005 we purchase some great cabins, renovated them and operated that business until August of 2008. Our customers are sad to see us go but are looking forward to a rewarding relationship with the new owners.

There was no room for growth at the cabins and we had always wanted to operate a campground. Now our dream is a reality and we will put every effort into restoring this great campground. The amenities are all in place we just need to repair and renovate them. We are repairing the Welcome Center, the Activity Center and everything else. Luckily we have a large family and some great friends that are working very hard to ensure that you stay at SFRRV, will be a memorable one.

We are looking forward to the challenges of updating and renovating the campground to bring it to its fullest potential. We are also looking forward to meeting people from all over the country that share our love for traveling!

We plan to meet your expectations. Our's have always been high and we want to please each and every person that visits our campground / rv resort. We have met so many great people on the road and we now look forward to all of you enjoying your stay with us, for many years to come! We are very excited about this new venture and look forward to seeing our guests year after year, as we did with our restaurant.

Many campground cater to a specific group such as seniors or children. We are striving to make our resort enjoyable to the whole family right down to the canine children.
